Creating a keepsake for virtual graduands.
How do you create a memorable experience for students who cannot attend an in-person graduation ceremony? We designed CapU’s 2021 Winter Convocation Program as a keepsake for graduands, along with a box of special items to commemorate the occasion. With so few printed materials being produced at the time, it was important to put extra care into our stock and finishing options.

The cover design included a blind emboss of the CapU coat of arms against a white background, honouring the history of CapU with a contemporary approach. Inside, the layout is simple and minimal, using images with plenty of white space to give the publication a light and airy feel. This special keepsake was picked up by graduands before their virtual convocation ceremony, and mailed out in a box to those unable to come in person.
